Home Remedies 


1.     Exfoliate

Lip Balm For Dry Lips

Gently rub the lips with the mixture of sugar and honey or coconut oil or almond oil then wipe and splash warm water.


Exfoliating helps to remove the dead flaky (top) layer on lips and reveal fresh young skin underneath.
But over-exfoliating is harmful so be careful.



2.    Coconut oil


Coconut oil can be used throughout a day. Apply a few drops of coconut oil onto your lips then dab it gently. It works as lip balm.
Coconut oil has many benefits of moisturizing, healing and protecting lips. Coconut oil acts as an emollient i.e. non-cosmetic moisturizer.



3.    Aloe Vera


Scoop out aloe vera gel from fresh leaf. Mix a few drops of coconut oil or olive oil in this gel. Store in a container and refrigerate. Use it as a lip balm.


Aloe vera contains vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants and anti-inflammation that sooth and re-hydrate damage skin.



4.    Honey


Make a mixture of raw honey and rose water. Apply it throughout a day as required.


Honey has an anti-bacterial property that helps prevent infection on cracked lips. Honey moisturizes the lips and also acts as a exfoliation that removes dead skin from dry lips.



5. Cucumber


Rub cucumber slice or apply cucumber juice as a mask on your lips. Leave it for 10 minute. Then wash with water.


Cucumber has a hydrating property. It gives vitamin and minerals to skin.



6.    Green tea bag


Dip a green tea bag in a cup of hot water for some time then apply the tea bag onto your lips. Leave it for 10 minute. It can be done daily basis.


Green tea has anti-oxidant property that heals cracked lips.



7. Rose Petals 


Soak 6-7 rose pastels in a half cup of milk  for 2-3 hours. Grind the mixture and store in a container then refrigerate. Use this mixture as a mask. Gently rub some mixture on lips and leave it for 10 minutes. Then wash with water.
Rose petals nourish, sooth and make the lips pink.




Overnight remedy



1.      Vitamin E oil


Cut the vitamin E capsule and apply oil onto the lips for overnight.
Vitamin E boosts circulation and helps generate new cell. Vitamin E has a anti-aging property that soft the lips.



2.    Milk cream or Ghee


Apply fresh milk cream onto the lips. In morning wash with water.
Milk cream moisturizes the lips and nutrients in it make the dark lips light.




Note

·        Drink plenty of water. Because dehydration causes the skin dry so like lips. In that case no remedy works well because internal hydration is first need.
