Skincare routine for oily skin
Kapha people skin is oily, smooth, and moist with a tendency towards large pores. The elements associated with kapha are prithvi (earth) and
jala(water).
Skin problem associated with kapha people is pustular acne
and black pores or blackheads.
Cleanser
Oatmeal (2 & ½ tablespoons)
Fullar’s earth powder (1 & ½ tablespoons)
Almond powder (1 and ½ tablespoons)
Mix all and make a paste. Apply aloevera face, avoiding the
area around eye. Wash gently after 15 minutes.
Massage your face with jojoba oil for 5 min.
Stream
Steam your face with boiled water (adding some rose petals
and lemon peel) by placing your face over it for 1-2 minute.
Fuller’s earth (1 tablespoon)
Lemon juice (few drops)
Make a paste by mixing both and adding sufficient amount of
water.
Apply allover face and neck avoiding eyes area. Leave for 10
min after wash.
Nourishing mask
Oatmeal powder(1 tablespoon)
Apple (2 tablespoon grated)
Milk (2 tablespoon)
Mix all and apply allover face and neck. Leave for 15
minutes. Scrub off the mask by moving the fingertips in a circular motion. Wash
with warm water.
Toning
Grapes juice (3 tablespoon)
Yogurt (to make paste)
Mix well and refrigerate for 1 hour then apply allover face.
Leave for 30 minutes and wash with lukewarm water.
Moisturizers
Cucumber juice (1/2 tablespoon)
Water (1 tablespoon)
Mix well then refrigerate and apply allover face and neck.
Nighttime moisturizer
Apply jasmine oil or jojoba oil.
